The Council of the Pharmaceutical Society NI has agreed and published a policy document on the use of powers for temporary registration of persons under the Pharmacy (NI) Order 1976, as modified by the Coronavirus Act 2020.

The policy sets out in detail what the temporary register is, what conditions can be attached to registration, how registration can be revoked, the status of temporary registrants and advice for employers. We would encourage employers/superintendents, as well as those on the Covid-19 Temporary Register, to familiarise themselves with the details of this policy.
