We are delighted to announce that plans for the Registration Examination have concluded and the examination application process will open next week. We plan to use three venues: two in Belfast and one in Coleraine. Arrangements are in place for socially distanced access and seating. Masks and hand sanitising will be available.
The examinations will be exactly the same as those planned for June 2020, using the same permitted reference sources and running at the usual scheduled times of 09:30 and 13:30 respectively.
Early next week, you will receive confirmation that the application process is open. Additional information will be provided at that time and Frequently Asked Questions specifically related to the August examination will be posted on our website. In the meantime, please refer to Chapter 10 of the Pre-registration Training Manual and our website.
Finally, we acknowledge again the efforts of tutors, employers and trainees in maintaining training during these difficult times whilst providing vital frontline services. We hope and anticipate that trainees will be able to use this additional time to further prepare for the Registration Examination and refine their pharmacy practice skills for entry into the profession as fully qualified and registered pharmacist.
