At the recent Council meeting of the Pharmaceutical Society NI , the President and members congratulated Prof Martin Bradley on being awarded the OBE in the New Year’s Honours List. Prof Bradley, was, until April 2012, the Chief Nursing Officer of Northern Ireland and was appointed a lay member of the Pharmaceutical Society NI Council in October 2012. Prof Bradley was awarded his OBE for services to Nursing.
Commenting on this award, Ms Jaqui Dougan, President said “Martin richly deserves this award. He is highly esteemed in the nursing profession and we are delighted to congratulate him. Since joining our Council he has brought his expertise and insight into the regulation of pharmacy and his contribution and skills are greatly appreciated.”
