Undergraduate Pharmacy students
Pharmacists in Northern Ireland register with the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland and must abide by its Code of Ethics. When you become a pharmacist in Northern Ireland, it will apply to you.
Your pharmacy course is preparing you to enter the pharmacy profession. Pharmacy is a registered healthcare profession that carries both priveleges and responsibilities. As a pharmacy student you must demonstrate you are able to exercise those privelges and bear those responsibilities. This means you must conduct yourself professionally at all times.
The Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland, in conjunction with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, expects Undergraduates at Pharmacy Schools across the UK to abide by a Student Code of Conduct and Guidance on Student Fitness to Practise Procedures in Schools of Pharmacy.
Evidence of an Undergraduate's failure to abide by these Standards could threaten their future registration.
