Society Officer Team Unanimously Re-elected to Continue Modernisation Programme
The Officer team of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland was unanimously re-elected at the October Meeting of the Society’s Council for an additional one-year term as the Society’s continues its root and branch modernisation programme.
Speaking on his reelection as Society President Raymond Anderson commented:
“I am proud and delighted to have been reelected to continue as President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland for an additional year.
The Society is going through a historic period of change, taking on increased regulatory roles to protect the public and is soon to forge a new professional forum to provide a voice for the pharmacist’s aspirations for the development of pharmacy.
It is a privilege to be steering through all these changes with my fellow officers. I hope in the year ahead we can continue the momentum we have now built towards completing our vision for the future of pharmacy registration, regulation and representation in Northern Ireland”.
Ms Ann Bowen was reelected as Vice-President and Ms Jacqui Dougan was reelected as Treasurer.
