As long as you, your partner or a parent has been on the Pharmacists Register at sometime, you are eligible to apply for support.  Applicants could include:

• Pharmacists Retired pharmacists  

• Pre-registration trainees 

• Surviving spouses/partners, orphans or dependents of deceased pharmacists

• Any member of a pharmacist’s family who is dependent on a pharmacist for financial support

Grants and other forms of financial assistance applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, eligibility being assessed based on the level of income against the level of outgoings. Therefore, your income need not be exceptionally low to apply, and you may still be eligible if you have savings. As a rule, most people who receive means-tested benefits, including pension credit, are automatically eligible for consideration.

We will try our best to support all grant applicants, but we recognise that Service may not be able to provide financial assistance in every case.
