Fellowship process
Under the Pharmacy (Northern Ireland) Order 1976, sch 1 para. 5 the Council may elect members or associates of the Society as fellows of the Society.
This recognition is given to those members who have made an outstanding contribution to the Pharmacy Profession. To aid the process of nomination the following four areas have been identified by Council as areas where excellence should be demonstrated for a successful nomination:
Community Benefit
The Profession
Science
Practice.
Nominations to the Council can be made at any stage but Council will only consider such nominations twice per year, at the June and the December Council meetings.
All nominations are to made to the President on the designated form click here and must be supported by a nominator and two further members of the Society, at least one of which should be a current fellow. A list of current fellows is available - list of current fellows.
