PPI Event
Invitation to the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland’s First Patient and
Public
Engagement event
As a modern health professional regulator we see engagement with the public and patients as an essential part of our future activities, adding value to our work and ensuring the needs and aspirations of pharmacy users are central to what we do.
In keeping with this principle the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland is organising its first Public Patient Involvement seminar.
The event will ask the key question “What do you expect from your pharmacy regulator?” The subject will be addressed from a number of different perspectives, with speakers from the Commission for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence, patient groups and public advocacy groups.
In the second part of the morning provides an opportunity for service users to tell us how best we can engage with our stakeholders in the long term. The facilitated workshop will last approximately an hour including a feedback session.
