(PPI Group)

 

About the PPI Group
The PPI Group was set up in January 2005. It's a forum for the UK regulators of health and social care professionals  to share ideas and promote good PPI practice. From the outset, all expressed their commitment to embedding PPI within their work.

The PPI Group's function is to:
a. assist the improvement of patient and public involvement in the work of UK regulators of health and social care professionals
b. develop an annual PPI strategy and work plan for the group's work
c. this strategy will complement individual partner organisation's PPI strategies
d. identify and agree joint patient and public involvement initiatives and to promote strategic joint working on PPI issues
e. identify and share best practice
