Patient & Public Forum
As the regulator of Pharmacy in Northern Ireland, the PSNI are interested in the views of those who use pharmacy in all its aspects. Following a seminar run in November 2008 the Pharmaceutical Society inaugurated the Public Forum. This group meets every 3-4 months to consider issues that relate to pharmacy from the Public perspective.
Currently the Forum is made up of representatives of Patient Groups and members of the public. We would be delighted if this group would grow and more individuals would join us to consider all aspects of pharmacy regulation as it affects all stakeholders
We are keen to make this process as open as possible and should you wish to be part of this Forum please contact me, Mark Neale here at the Society either by telephone 028 90326927 or by email mark.neale@psni.org.uk
At a recent meeting the forum members addressed issues such as;
Pandemic Flu Planning
The Student Code of Conduct
Sexual Boundaries Policy
Legislative reform
Complaints and Concerns Allocation
Should you have any comments on any of these issues or if you have issues you would wish to raise with the Forum please contact me using the details above
