On 10th July 2014, at the request of the Registrar, the Statutory Committee reviewed the direction previously given with regard to Fiona Collins, registration number, 4664.  The entry in the register of Fiona Collins was conditional upon certain requirements specified by the Statutory Committee at a previous hearing on 21st June 2013.  As a result of the review, the Statutory Committee re-affirmed its original direction and, in particular, specified that the Committee expected Fiona Collins to undergo 12 months of direct supervised practise.  As this period of supervised practise had not commenced, the Committee extended the period for compliance with the original direction by a period of 13 months.  This was on the basis of representations made on the registrant’s behalf that:

  1. she would complete work equivalent to the return to practise programme to the satisfaction of the Society before 12th August 2014;
  2. she would take up a position of direct supervised practise for a period of 12 months commencing on or about 12th August 2014 at Fegan’s Pharmacy, Andersonstown Road, Belfast
  3. she would work under the direct supervision of Deborah Wilson MPSNI

An application on behalf of Fiona Collins that the direction be reviewed after 6 months of direct supervised practise was acceded to by the Statutory Committee which listed the review on 16th February 2015.
